Mechanical / Electrical Drafter

We are looking for a Mechanical/Electrical Designer/CAD Operator to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX. This

is a full-time in-office position reporting to the Director of Engineering.

Responsibilities:

 Drafting/using Autodesk Inventor 2022 to design Food Service/Kitchen Equipment type products.

 Estimating/quoting a variety of Food Service/Kitchen type products.

 Work with Sales and Customers in the Food Service Industry on designs, specifications, and prototypes

to suit their application needs.

Requirements

Requirements:

 Relevant degree preferred. Extensive on-the-job experience in a similar environment may substitute

for formal education.

 Experience with equipment used to cut, bend, join and finish ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

 Knowledge of the Food Service Industry Equipment required.

 Two years of quoting/estimating and drafting preferred.

 Two years of Autodesk Inventor 2022/AutoCAD or equivalent experience required.

 AS-400 experience preferred. Proficiency with other ERP packages may be considered.

 Generalist approach to the field with a willingness to research and execute projects with a very

"hands-on” approach.

 Work with personnel at all levels of the organization in a diplomatic yet assertive way in order to

achieve the solutions that are best for the Company.

 Monitor product documentation for accuracy and make necessary corrective actions.
