Job Description:

MANPOWER HAS A JOB FOR YOU! One of our top clients in the Cranberry/ Warrendale, PA area is looking for a Mechanical Drafter. 8+ plus month assignment. Working hours are 8:00am

5pm, Monday
Friday. Starting pay rate is $25.00/HR.

Duties:

-Drafting of installation assembly drawings
-Drafting of single line electrical diagrams
-Detail wiring diagrams for equipment
-AutoCAD 2014 and later
-Cable Tray details
-Drafting of site plans
-Foundation layouts
-2 years of experience drafting
-Make suitable CAD files for customer submittals, assembly, and manufacturing purposes while following Departmental processes
-Take design concepts from Engineering staff and create all design/customer documents using AutoCad that fully specify the design intent and support the manufacture of the part.

Work Hours: daylight Monday through Friday

8:00AM-5:00PM

Agreeable to work overtime if required

Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to meet work hours

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent

Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Perform all mechanical assembly, wiring, testing, and gas handling tasks for MEPPI products Essential Functions • Perform any of the Assembly Technician I and II duties and responsibilities as needed. * Complete mechanical assembly of MEPPI products according to drawings, bills of materials, checksheets, and other work instructions. * Perform all wiring tasks on MEPPI products according to drawings and Company specifications. * Perform all testing requirements to ensure products meet quality and test requirements. * Operate SF6 gas handling equipment and be able to evacuate and fill circuit breakers correctly and safely. * Use various hand and power tools correctly and safely to assemble sub-assemblies and products. * Read and understand technical drawings, mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and bills of materials. * Inspect subassemblies and/or assemblies for defects by operating specialized test equipment, measurement devices, and visual checking. Identify and correct defects appropriately. * Complete process check sheets, daily production sheets and other daily reporting and paperwork according to Company procedures. * Further the goals and positive, professional image of the EDD Division. * Know MEPPI's Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies. Be able to fully discuss the importance of these policies and how they impact work. Utilizing specialized expertise, perform complex service support activities, troubleshoot and repair single and three phase uninterruptible power supplies and peripherals for internal and external customers. Schedule technical sales or service support for customers including emergency service calls. Essential Functions * Perform on-site customer service of UPSD products including troubleshooting of complex UPSD systems. Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of Transportation Systems Division (TSD) units and components according to specifications. Tasks Performed Essential Functions • Perform inspection on parts and sub-assemblies using inspection tools, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and drawings. * Understand and interpret manufacturing and quality assurance procedures. * Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) reports on incoming products. * Perform incoming inspection on parts and sub-assemblies to verify that only defect free parts and sub-assemblies are released to the production floor. * Perform source inspections at vendor sites and assist with vendor related issues, concerns and certification. * Work with production on the completion and shipping of units to the production schedule. * Assist Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineer, and/or Engineering in troubleshooting and analyzing defects and non-conformances. * Assist production Technicians in solving assembly problems and drawing interpretation. * Verify that open MRR lines are closed in a reasonable time frame. * Assist Quality personnel in investigation and dispositioning MRR's. * Interpret manufacturing information for investigation of parts or assembly problems. * Perform final inspection to verify that only defect free units are being shipped to the Customer. * Perform refrigerant leak checks and quality measurements as required. * Assist with on-the-job hands on training as needed. * Support and assist the Quality personnel as needed.
