Description:
As a Mechanical Designer, you will be creating high-quality construction documents and design details, supporting engineers, and traveling to job site for on-site construction administration and site inspections to assess the quality of work. You will play a critical role in ensuring that buildings have safe and efficient systems that meet local building codes and regulations. This position will have overall responsibilities for the mechanical design of a project and will work closely with our other Engineering and Architecture disciplines on project deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Support Team Leaders, Project Managers, Designers, and Engineers with drawing development.
While primary responsibility will be in mechanical discipline, assist in the following disciplines and sub-disciplines: Fire Suppression, Plumbing, Medical Gas, and HVAC (ductwork + piping).
Assist in developing BIM related templates, standards, schedules, and details in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Department.
Possess familiarity with designing mechanical systems.
Coordination within a multi-disciplinary and multi-department project team.
Plan, focus, and complete tasks on hand.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of HVAC design experience
Revit proficiency
Bachelor's or Associate's related to design
