Pay is up to 85k

The job responsibilities include design and analysis activities for machine builds, mechanical

components, and assemblies from concept through production.

Required Skills

• BS in Mechanical Engineering.

• 3 plus years' experience in machine tools or related industry.

• Experience with engines or powertrains is a plus.

• AutoCAD and 3-D SolidWorks.

• Strong analytical skills: Able to compile data into useable form, recognize patterns in data, information, or events, draw logical conclusions, and make recommendations for action.

• Strong communication skills both written and oral.

• Willing to work hands-on in the plant and at the customer's facility, including potential occasional domestic and international travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of machines/machine tooling to meet company and customer design specifications, removing complexity and enhancing reliability and safety.

• Use, maintain, and/or improve standard components to meet all applicable specifications in machine/machine tooling designs.

• New designs and improved standards to conserve space, manufactured at the lowest cost, with minimum amount of Engineering time.
