We are looking for a Mechanical CWI inspector who will be managing the inspection and coordination of a general contractor on a project in a Harvey, Louisiana facility. The successful candidate must have facilities construction experience. The expected start date is October 3rd, and the project will run through Mid-March 0f 2023. There will be daily per diem on this project.

Responsibilities

a. The inspector shall have a CWI certification

b. The inspector shall have abundant facilities construction experience

c. The inspector shall have no physical limitations from performing job duties which include climbing stairs, ladders, working at elevated heights and potentially carrying up to 50 pounds.

d. The inspector shall be willing to relocate to Harvey, Louisiana for the duration of the project.

e. The Inspector shall possess special knowledge and be well-skilled and competent in Welding inspection activities.

f. Shall be familiar with the use and handling of construction equipment.

Requirements

Must live in/near Harvey or be willing to relocate
Have CWI certification
Have TWIC card
Maintains continual communications with Contractors field supervisory personnel to ensure all project objectives are attained.
Provides field administration for all field contract services.
Prepares and submits necessary Daily Construction Progress Reports
Maintains construction records, progress pictures and progress reports.
Enforces company safety policies.
