We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on experience in plumbing, HVAC systems, and controls. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of plumbing, HVAC, and control systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against established goals and objectives, identifying and addressing any deviations or challenges that may arise.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and project reports, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 years of experience
  • EIT is good to have but not a requirement
  • Proven experience in construction project coordination, preferably in the mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC industry.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and controls, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
