At AMETEK, we don't just manufacture market-leading electronic instruments and electromechanical devices - we are using innovation to make the world a better place; technology to improve lives; and talent to solve challenges that matter.Job Summary:In this role you will perform assembly and repair work on low, medium and high-power amplifiers or other products following instructions, parts lists and/or pictures and sketches and wire lists and using a variety of hand tools.Key Responsibilities:*

Assemble complex amplifiers following work instructions, assembly drawings, schematics, and detailed instructions from Engineering/Work Order packets. * Assemble amplifiers into enclosure and complete all component electrical connections accurately.*

Assemble, repair and wire high power units adapting and modifying cabinets and supporting structures to produce a high-quality product. * Assemble, repair and wire low and medium power amplifiers to meet quality standards and time schedules. * Provide assembly instructions to Assembler B and C employees and others, as needed to meet quality standards. * Document suggested improvements using Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and submit to supervisor. * Visually inspect assemblies before moving units to inspection, stock or test.Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Must be able to use hand tools including soldering iron and simple power tools. * Must demonstrate a basic understanding of electrical components and circuitry, and ability to follow assembly instructions. * Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (with assistance)Desired Qualifications:* ERP experience a plusWhat's in It for You: * Competitive compensation, holiday pay, and paid time off * Great benefits package that includes health, vision, and dental insurance* 401(k), plus matching * Health savings account (HSA) with company contribution, life insurance, disability insurance, and family medical leave * Employee referral program * Tuition reimbursement program * Employee assistance program * Exciting, fast-paced environment where you could make a true impact * Opportunities for career advancement within our business unit and across all other AMETEK business entitiesAdditional Details:Loca
