Position Summary: The Mechanic/Technician will safely and effectively complete remanufacturing of drivetrain and/or hydraulic components serving the off-highway vehicle industry. This includes all steps from unit disassembly through bench testing of a completed component assembly.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurately check assembly tolerance and end play specifications using the proper tools and gauges.
Checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts team lead.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Immediate Supervisor: Plant Manager of Off Highway

Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Strong mechanical aptitude, work ethic and a desire to succeed.
Hands on mechanical experience with heavy duty vehicle transmissions, differential steering gear.
Ability to be a self-starter that operates effectively and professionally under pressure.
Dependable, punctual and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate good team work attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written.
Ability to read and understand manufacturers' tolerances and schematics.
Detail-oriented.
Works well as a productive member of a team.
Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on tools and equipment.
Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
