The Occasions Group, the preferred printing partner for all of life's events, is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain the equipment, real property, and installed systems of our facility.

Shift Available: Monday

  • Friday 2:30p

  • 10:30p

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain all of the equipment, real property, and installed systems in our facility

  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment periodically

  • Machine setup and adjustments

  • Troubleshooting malfunctions and problems with equipment and systems

  • Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools

  • Schedule maintenance for industrial machines and equipment, and keep equipment service records

  • Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings

  • Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency

  • Winter snow removal and equipment operation of bobcat, blowers, and brooms

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Must have computer knowledge (Windows based software)

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a demonstrated ability to work well with others, especially in stressful situations

  • An ideal candidate would have at least two years work experience in a mechanical-related field and require a minimum amount of supervision

  • Some technical knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and computer controlled equipment is desirable

  • Must be physically able to be on feet, bend, crouch, and do physical labor for an entire shift

  • Must be able to lift 30lbs continuously, and occasionally up to 75 lbs.

  • Good communication skills

The chosen candidate will work in close collaboration with the manager of the Innovation Center, Director of Marketing and Solutions, project managers, company leadership, and a team of other marketing and creative interns. As a project management intern, you will assist the Taylor Creative Services team in onboarding, organizing, assigning new projects to internal teams of designers, marketers, copywriters, and developers; own the communication and project management efforts for an emerging client upsell tool, and develop a rapport with stakeholders from around the corporation. This is a paid, real-world learning experience that will help set you on a bright career path with the potential for full-time placement within one of our companies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Shift Available * Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm * Maximum of 35 hours per week, flexible schedule Responsibilities Include * Assist in the planning and traffic management of incoming marketing, creative, and development projects. * Work closely with other project managers to assign projects to the correct teams and collect all necessary resources, contacts, and instructions in order to effectively begin the project. * Use creative problem solving, high attention to detail, and engaging personality to take on new challenges. * Utilize creative project management tool to set up new projects, assign roles and tasks, and work with project owners to ensure that timelines, expectations, and due dates are set up correctly. * Manage incoming creative design and development requests, track the progress and due dates associated with new requests, and facilitate communication with external clients in a friendly and customer service oriented manner. * Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track and measure program performance. * Manage budgets and project scope, coordinate meeting requests, and assess project risks. * Effectively communicate project deliverables and strategic rationale in verbal, visual, and written formats. * Work on occasional projects relating to market research, employee incentives, and marketing strategy. Minimum Qualifications * Pursuing or recently attained a degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Communication, Graphic Design, Marketing, or other related degrees. * Thrives in a fun, fast-paced work environment and can collaborate effectively as a team member. * Can demonstrate excellent project management, administration, organization, attention to detail, and time management skills. * Capable of strategically managing and prioritizing multiple tasks on tight timelines. * Excellent copywriting skills, interpersonal communication skills, and presentation skills. * Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Publisher), Google Documents, WordPress, and Skype. * Light to medium familiarity with Adobe design products is a plus (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). * Must be highly collaborative, personable, and open to constructive feedback from peers and clients. * Must be able to work out of our North Mankato, MN office.
