Duties vary from preventive maintenance to repairs.

  • Makes routine inspections, documents inspections and repairs, performs scheduled maintenance and runs tests after making repairs or performing maintenance.

  • Have knowledge of and follow all regulations set by the FAA. FAA regulations govern the maintenance schedules, inspections and repairs.

  • Maintains the premises of Safe Fuel Systems, Inc., in a clean and orderly manner.

  • Requests material requisitions from stock as required.

  • Assures the proper handling of all parts while in the repair order process.

  • Maintains the preservation of all units or parts during the work process, installation, and storage.

  • Reports any defective shop equipment or tools.

  • Makes recommendations to additional equipment or tools.

  • Use current data and proper tools in the performance of maintenance.

  • Ensuring safety precautions are observed and safety equipment is used at all times.

  • Ensures the proper use of tools and resources to follow the appropriate technical data during the performance of any maintenance function.

  • Ensures the accuracy and quality of work performed in the shop area is in compliance with the repair station manual.

  • Ensures that all work received meets all required turnaround times. High School Diploma with a minimum 2+ years combined on the job training/experience in a related repair station environment.

  • Air frame and Aircraft Power plant Certificate and/or prior Repairman's Certificate in related repair station environment is highly preferred.

  • Skillful understanding of mechanics and how various parts of machinery interact with each other.

  • Detail-oriented personality and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong background in math and technical writing.

  • Communication skills, including writing and speaking, since aircraft technicians often work in teams and must keep thorough records of all repairs and maintenance done on an aircraft units.

  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English.

  • Must have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Must be able to lift, bend, push and pull up to 40lbs.

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and within established procedures and guidelines.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, sometimes under pressured deadlines.

VIEW JOBS 3/4/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-02T00:00 Job Overview Maintenance Mechanic II The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical / electrical equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, production machines, boilers, pumps, liquid fillers, packaging equipment, material handling equipment, bulk delivery equipment, and blending/mixing systems. This position will primarily focus on the utilities side of maintenance. Shift and Schedule: This position is a 3rd shift position working Monday-Friday at 10:00pm - 6:30AM. Compensation and Benefits: The pay is based on experience. Benefits are available on DAY 1. Medical, dental, 401K ETC. Position Responsibilities * Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication. * Wire moderately complex control circuits. * Fabricate, repair, and install hangers and all types of piping including hot/cold water, steam, process and condensate, utilizing formulas for all phases. * Weld various types of metals. * Machine most metals, plastics, and composites. * Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment. * Complete size changeovers, make adjustments, and trouble shoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment. * Identify problems and completes repairs, with minimal downtime or supervision. * Troubleshoot and program minor changes in Allen Bradley PLC (SLC500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix and ControlLogix. * Troubleshoot 3ph 480v motors and VFDs including replacement and / or programming #CB #IND1 Requirements * 2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment * 2 years of experience troubleshooting 3 phase (480V) Circuits, Motor starters and controls and electronic circuit boards * Lift, push, and pull 50 pounds repeatedly, walking and standing for long period of time Company Overview & EEO Statement Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) is a leading coffee and beverage company in North America with dual headquarters in Burlington, MA and Plano, TX, with annual revenue in excess of $11 billion.
