Mechanic - PRN

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches and operation manuals.

Performs repairs on hospital equipment.

Performs preventive maintenance inspections.

Completes required documentation according to departmental policy.

Maintains hospital in a safe and orderly fashion.

Demonstrates flexibility in performance of tasks

Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent - Required OR experience can be used in place of education requirements.Military or shop training with courses in electricity, or mechanics or two years experience in maintenance.

Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Required LicensesCurrent driver's license

Minimum Work ExperienceTwo years in maintenance field preferred.
