Location: Albuquerque Ambulance Services
High School Diploma or GED
High school or GED plus trade or vocational school in diesel or gasoline engine repair. Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions is required. Three to five years of relevant work experience in automotive and diesel mechanical repair is required. A minimum of 3 certifications or five year of verifiable job related experience is a must. Must have tools to service diesel and gas engine such as the diesel 6.0, 6.4, 6.7, and gas V-10.

SKILL-Ability to effectively interact with customers to understand their needs and explain data
Operated equipment, vibrating tools, and small tools
REASON AND ANALYZE SKILLS
SKILL-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person and via telephone with members, employer groups, brokers, physicians, and physician office staff using strong dialogue and customer service competencies.
SKILL-Able to work under limited supervision, self manage work time and projects, resolve issues with minimal assistance.
To perform both major and minor repairs on emergency and non-emergency vehicles for Albuquerque Ambulance Service of Presbyterian Healthcare Services. To supervise or instruct all lower echelon mechanics and vehicle service technicians in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
