Responsibilities
Performs proper PM checks on all permanent equipment:
Check steam traps
Check operation of pneumatic actuators, T stats
Lubricate bearings
Check and change as required: filters, belts, equipment operating parameters, drip pans
Maintains mechanical equipment rooms
Check operating parameters on all equipment
Troubleshoots and completes major repairs in a timely manner:
Access and troubleshoot EMS system
Calibrate pneumatic actuators, T stats
Change adjust belts, bearings, sheaves
Proficient use of all hand tools
Pump repair
Proficient in maintaining environmental equipment and systems:
Clean and test ADI flow indicators
Respond to Fire Alarms as part of Fire Response Team
Applies all safety standards for safety and health
Checks and troubleshoots equipment parameters
Minimum Requirements:
2-3 years of experience in the HVAC field .
High School graduate, or G.E.D.
Read, write and speak English at a minimum 6'th grade level. Follow written and verbal instructions and complete high school level computational skills.
Valid and clean NYS driver's license
