Volt is immediately hiring a Mech Assembler in Lynnwood, WA!

As a Mech Assembler:

• Assembly of complex electro-mechanical systems and sub-systems including experience with and soldering.

• Test and data collection using a variety of lab equipment such as: Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters, Impedance Analyzers.

• Maintain high quality standards of workmanship.

• Ensuring an organized and clean workspace including total preventive maintenance of equipment, tooling, and fixtures.

• Foster the environment of continuous improvement.

• Disciplined in the process of following precise work instructions.

• Open to be cross trained in different skills.

Skills & Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• 1 year of relevant experience or recent study at a vocational trade school.

• Ability to assemble small components into compact subsystems.

• Proficiency with basic hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance.

• Ability to read, interpret, and understand assembly drawings.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Experience with Microsoft Office tools.

• Conform with Electrostatic Discharge Safety, Foreign Object Debris, and EH&S requirements.

• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Additional skills and experience that are "nice to have" but not required and can be trained.

• Solder certification.

• Handling hazmat with proper safety regulations.

• Operating an overhead jib/crane.

• Viewing assemblies in CAD software.

• Operating a forklift.

• Picking parts and kitting work orders.

• Production stress screen machine setup, operation, and changeover experience.

• Assembling products in single piece flow.

• ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards.

• Working in world-class lean manufacturing environment.

This is a Contract opportunity.

Schedule: 1st Shift

Location: Lynnwood, WA

Duration: 06 Months

Pay: $25 to $27/hr.

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
