Position: Meals on Wheels Coordinator
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Part-Time, 5.0 hours per day, 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM, 12-months per year
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: $23.69 - $31.98/hour dependent on qualifications

Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, overseeing and implementing all facets of the Meals on Wheels program.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordination of the Meals on Wheels operation including completing the daily meal delivery schedule, determine delivery routes and schedules, ordering and inventory of meals and supplies needed for daily and weekly meal delivery
Coordinate client intake including interaction with prospective clients, families and county case managers, understand client dietary needs enter all client information into software program.
Oversee program volunteers including recruitment of volunteers, responding to requests for information about volunteering, processing volunteer applications and background checks, training and scheduling. Oversight and supervision of volunteers.
Serve as the primary contact between related agencies, vendors, county social service providers and clients.
Oversee fundraising efforts for the program including seeking out, applying for and following up on fundraising opportunities within the community.
Oversee program outreach, marketing and public relations
Prepare annual budget, monitor all income and expenditures, approve purchases for payment, authorize vendor payments, submit bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
Maintain compliance of all health and safety regulations, agency membership and training as required including food safety and kitchen licenses.
Provide back up support for daily meal preparation and delivery of meals as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or Human Services Field and at least two years of experience in working with volunteers, meal service programs, human services related area and/or closely related field or a combination of education and/or experience to total six years.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidential information
Technology skills including knowledge of ServTracker software
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Cultural competence ad experience working with diverse populations including seniors and vulnerable adults
Strong analytical, leadership and planning skills
Strong technology skills
Demonstrated knowledge with Pantry Saver client-based software and/or Little Green Light donor management system software
