Analytics & Cognitive Senior Solutions Specialist Informatica MDM/IDQ Consultant - USDC

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Actively participate, define and implement multi-domain (i.e. customer, supplier, equipment, product, parts, materials, locations, etc) Master Data Management solutions as well as data conversion approaches

  • Define and implement Data Governance frameworks, spanning metadata management, data quality management, reference data management, data management policies and operating models

  • Manage the translation of business rules and requirements into data objects, produce associated data models, conduct source to target mappings and write abstracted, reusable code components accordingly

  • Plan/schedule tasks, lead development teams, estimate effort, and mentor junior colleagues

  • Actively participate in technical meetings with client stakeholders, and advise client with technical option analyses based on leading practices

  • Establish baseline SLA's for MDM services and provide recommendations for remediation and improvements of current performance issues

  • Prioritize and execute on performance tuning opportunities and operationalize ongoing performance monitoring of MDM ecosystem to enable baseline service level thresholds

  • Deliver high-quality work and adapt to new challenges, as an individual or as part of a team

  • Demostrate Good Understanding of Data models and Data Architecture with deep knowledge of SQL/PL SQL. Exposure to Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata

Together with the Strategy practice, our Strategy & Analytics portfolio helps clients transform their business by architecting organizational intelligence programs and differentiated strategies to win in their chosen markets.

Analytics & Cognitive will work with our clients to:

  • Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms

  • Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions

  • Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.

  • 7 years of full-time experience with ETL / MDM tools and processes, preferably in a technical environment involving 10 TB of data

  • 7 years of experience in Informatica MDM with development skills in Informatica PowerCenter ETL.

  • Experience in multiple areas of MDM implementations including Data Profiling, metadata acquisition, data migration, validation, reject processing and pre-landing processing.

  • 7 years of Informatica MDM (Hub and IDD) as well as experience with Power Exchange

  • Experience with Informatica MDM Service Integration Framework (SIF) , Informatica MDM Hub Match and Merge rules, batch jobs and batch groups.

  • Experience interfacing with ESB's.

  • Experience in configuring Entity base objects, Entity Types, Relationship base objects, Relationship Types, Profiles using Hierarchy tool.

  • Experience working with Provisioning tool, Business Entities, Transformations, Workflow and Elastic search configurations. Understanding how to integrate Informatica MDM and IDQ.

  • Knowledge of SOAP and REST API.

  • At least one end to end MDM implementation as the lead architect. Strong knowledge of Oracle DB and Data modeling.

  • Knowledge of implementing hierarchies, relationship types, packages and profiles for hierarchy management in MDM Hub implementation.

  • Knowledge of Active VOS workflow concept in Informatica MDM.

  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Cardholder

  • Must be willing to live and work in one of our Center locations:

Gilbert, AZ (Phoenix area)

Mechanicsburg, PA (Harrisburg area)

Lake Mary, FL (Orlando area)

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Qualifications

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience on Java is preferred with ability to develop custom user exits.

  • Experience in proven methodology (Inman or Kimball) and appropriate data schema exposure (Star, Snowflake)

  • 3 -5 years of experience as database developer on data warehousing/database projects

  • Exposure with Oracle EBS solutions
