A dual source CT scanner and cardiac MRI complement diagnostic and procedural capabilities to match those in major urban areas. Each year Gundersen Heart Institute performs over 400 cardiothoracic surgeries, nearly 2,000 diagnostic coronary angiograms, and ~650 percutaneous coronary interventions. As part of continuous care improvement, physicians participate in nationally and internationally recognized research and clinical tests of devices, procedures and pharmaceuticals.

This unique opportunity offers the option for a joint appointment with Mayo Clinic Department of Psychiatry and Psychology in Rochester, MN for patient care, research or education. The Department Chair is responsible for participating in a triad leadership model which includes an Operations Administrator and Nurse Administrator. This position is also responsible for providing a comprehensive array of treatments to our patient population in collaboration with physicians and other staff.
