Md/Do Critical Access Rural Er's

Gundersen Health System, based in La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine physician to practice in our critical access emergency departments.

Practice Highlights:

• 6 - 24 hour shifts = full-time. Option to include rotational coverage with 12 hour shifts at higher volume/acuity ED

• Supported by a 325-bed Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, STEMI/PCI Program with medical directorship of both ground and air transport

• Specialty services phone consultations 24/7 with La Crosse based specialists

• Telemedicine support including 24/7 telestroke consultation available in all Gundersen Health System critical access hospitals

Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
