We are hiring a Medicare Sales Director to support our Dual Special Needs Plans. This role will not manage people more so manage business and strategy for our Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans while collaborating with local market GMs and Sales leaders to remove sales obstacles and put each market in the best position possible to achieve their DSNP sales goals. Assist in developing sales strategy and tactics based on best practices to optimize each market's go to market execution.
Opportunity is virtual (work from home) and we are willing to consider candidates based on their location. This is a high profile job within our thriving Medicare sales organization. This individual will have the opportunity to lead, grow and be compensated and recognized based on the positive impact they have in working with markets. Travel will be required, often and frequently through out the yearly sales cycle and AEP Season
Consult with Sales Leaders & GMs to help identify market specific opportunities to increase DSNP sales
Spend time on the ground to identify obstacles to sales then work with internal partners to remove those obstacles
Participate in DSNP sales strategy development efforts and assist with execution as needed
Assist in implementing agreed upon DSNP sales initiatives with the local market team
Provide constructive feedback to local sales leadership based on first hand observation from time spent in the field with sales reps
Share key data observations with assigned markets to uncover potential sales opportunities or potential pitfalls
Assist in developing new collateral to pursue new sales opportunities
Facilitate the sharing of best practices and processes across all markets
Assist in onboarding new Sales Leaders
Bachelor's degree preferred
5+ years of successful sales management/ leadership experience including coaching sales reps in the field
This individual will have extensive, successful DSNP sales and sales strategy experience.
Have sold DSNP personally at some point in their career. Experience leading a team of DSNP sales reps
Developed market wide DSNP sales strategies
Participated in the development of local DSNP marketing plans
Participated in the DSNP product development process.
3+ years experience of successful sales experience where livelihood was dependent on making sales
Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with multiple GM's and Sales Leaders across a matrix organization
Very strong sales process and driven organization
Ability to develop sales strategy by leveraging data
Strong ability and willingness to collaborate across multiple markets
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
