Aetna is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to support multiple Western Regions and Territories and markets: Markets can include: IL, Iowa, KS, Idaho, AZ, CA, UT, Montana, North/ South Dakota, Colorado and Nevada
The position is full time telework (work from home) because the employee will need to travel through out the territories BUT the candidate does need to reside in 1 of the states listed in the territory.
Our Regional Sales Manager is responsible for client account management, working with brokers/ agents, building distribution channels and business retention for Aetna products and services. You will develop and cultivate strong relationships with key constituents to maximize sales opportunities and achieve profitable growth for our suite of Healthcare and additional product lines.
(*) Oversees a block of business or may develop new business opportunities to ensure profitable customers and help grow the business through consultative selling, issue resolution and superior service.
(*) Manages and builds producer relations as needed depending on book of business or market segment(s) being supported.
(*) Identifies various ways to partner with the client by drawing from entire spectrum of product line illustrating a keen understanding of clients multifaceted needs and benefits of Aetna's full product array.
(*) Collaborates with internal partners and/or external constituents to uncover profitable growth and cross-sell opportunities within new or existing customers and to support post-sale activities.
(*) Coordinates sales materials, testimonials and subject matter expert involvement in support of the successful delivery of constituent presentations.
(*) Develops/maintains and communicates expertise on products, industry and emerging marketplace trends.
(*) 1 - 5+ years of industry and sales experience
(*) Medicare Sales Experience strongly preferred
(*) Sales License is required
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
