MBI Claims Examiner

Claims Payment Specialist Fredericksburg, VA

Salary: $23.33 hourly / $47,000 annually

The MBI Claims department is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join its Payment Processing Team as a Claims Payment Specialist. The primary responsibility of a Claims Payment Specialist is to compare incoming invoices to authorized MBI claims so that payments can be made to the correct payee. Additional responsibilities include following up on invoice discrepancies with claims examiners and repair facilities, and handling inbound calls to the Payment Processing Team.

The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• In Office Position - must commute to 1 Geico Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22406

• Solid computer and multi-tasking skills

• Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing

• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
