Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The MBA Intern, Corporate Initiatives will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of strategic initiatives to advance Centric Brands and their owned and operated brands. This role will consider emerging industry trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, acquisition targets, and areas for internal business performance improvement. The position offers unique exposure to a wide variety of businesses within the apparel and fashion industry.

The MBA Intern, Corporate Initiatives will work directly with the Chief of Staff and C-suite executive team on various corporate initiatives and projects.

• Support the planning and execution of strategic projects as directed by the Chief of Staff

• Identify business opportunities, develop a long-term strategy, and provide actionable steps to capitalize on those opportunities

• Work will include identifying business topics within Centric Brands for which long term strategic planning could expedite decision making

• Meet with key decision makers to prioritize topics and select areas of focus

• Investigate and model potential opportunities

• Create a strategy deck laying out the business landscape and recommendations for Brand strategies

• Identify and develop growth opportunities (e.g., organic, M&A, JV's)

• Develop robust financial models and projections highlighting the risks and benefits

• Build strategy presentations for presentation to senior leadership

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

• Currently enrolled graduate student, having completed at least two semesters of post graduate work in an MBA program by Summer 2024

• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in NYC

• Strong quantitative skills, advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, comfortable working with large amounts of data

• Strong problem-solving skills including project prioritization, critical thinking and hypothesis development

• Ability to develop cogent arguments and present them concisely to a range of stakeholders, including executives

Salary Range: $30-40/hour
