The Senior Analyst Logistics Optimization is responsible for driving improved outbound logistics cost service and delivery execution through the logistics network utilizing skills in Problem Solving TMS Optimization & Analytics project management and leadership.
Ensure optimization of routing decisions through analytics and review of TMS best practices.
Financial and analytical acumen critical and creative thinking sound business judgment including ability to derive the right conclusions from large sets of data coming from multiple sources
Support identification and implementation of TMS enhancements
Willingness to challenge status quo overcoming barriers for new ideas gracefully challenging traditional thinking
Works closely with cross functional partners understanding tradeoffs of business decisions and alignment of resources for swift completion of work
Ability to approach business issues at various levels (tactical/strategic)
Tenacity to accept and drive changes in an evolving network and amidst changing customer behavior
Ability to communicate confidently and effectively in various ways up to VP level of management
Identify and Implement cross-functional problem solving initiatives using Lean Six Sigma Continuous Improvement tools
Work cross functionally with other departments (Customer Service Sales Dispatch Shipping etc.) to improve overall service and delivery performance

Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain Business or related field strongly preferred
5+ years of experience in Logistics/Transportation Management including demonstrated use of analytics
Demonstrated project management and team building experience
Lean/Six Sigma training and/or certification preferred
ISM/APICS certification preferred
Proficient Microsoft Office skills (MS Access Excel Outlook PowerPoint etc.)
Up to 10% travel required
