ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Processes Red Cross messages, SIR and CCIR.
o Provides receptionist services, answers phone, and takes messages
o Maintains Staff Duty Journal DA Form 1594
o Greets and welcomes all military personnel arriving
o Answers general questions about Fort Bliss and the El Paso surrounding area
o Evaluate and consolidate information from various sources under short deadlines.
Reports any work related injuries & submits proper reports to Facilities.
Turn in daily perstat and billeting reports.
Operate general office equipment.
Provide military personnel with copies, fax and maps.
Keeps weekly and yearly statistics that will be used for AAR's.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Required Education, Experience, and Skills include:
High school diploma or equivalent.
2-3 years of administrative, receptionist or office experience.
Proven ability for maintaining accurate data entry performed in a fast-paced environment.
Able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Fort Bliss Network Access CAC Card.
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills include:
Preferred Prior Military E-4 and above.
General Military knowledge desired.
Receptionist experience desired.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:
As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
