JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for supporting the successful completion of medium and high complexity deliverables related to the GAS Enterprise Asset Management (MATRiX) project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from gathering and defining solution requirements to ensuring successful build and deployment.
This role will also focus on training, course development, business readiness, change management, communication, process and documentation. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the EAM system is implemented effectively and delivers maximum value to the organization.
The selected candidate could work out of the following locations: Georgia or Illinois
This position follows a Hybrid Work Schedule. Employees are required to be in the office Three (3) Days per week.
This position may be filled as Project Manager grade GSE05 or GSE06. Individuals who demonstrate advanced skills in terms of work experience, education, and certifications may be eligible for the more advanced position.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role is responsible for steering projects towards success by ensuring they align with our strategic goals and smoothly integrate technology with business processes. You'll leverage your analytical skills to develop solutions, support testing to ensure functionality, and prepare the business for system transitions with effective documentation and change management.+ Collaborate with business leaders to ensure that project outcomes support the organization's strategic objectives.+ Ensure business processes are effectively integrated with technology to achieve smooth operations.+ Utilize analytical skills and business knowledge to contribute to the creation of technical solutions.+ Offer support during the testing phase to guarantee the successful deployment and functionality of solutions.+ Drive project meetings and set the agenda for regular check-ins with the project team, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration among all participants.+ Proactively manage changes in project scope, identifying potential crises and devising contingency plans to keep the project on track.+ Assess and ensure the readiness of the business to transition to the new system, identifying and addressing any gaps or areas needing additional support.+ Create and maintain detailed documentation of project processes, decisions, and configurations to ensure a reliable reference and knowledge base
