Assistant or Associate Professor Position

Two Positions: Assistant or Associate Professor Tenure-track
Salary: Salary commensurate with education and experience.

The minimum education requirement for appointment to these positions is a terminal degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related area.
Candidates nearing completion of the terminal degree may be considered; however, all requirements for conferral of the degree must be met no later than August 19, 2020. The ability to teach a broad range of Computer Science and/or Computer Information Systems courses is necessary. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary. The successful candidate should provide evidence of their commitment to or experience promoting and fostering a learning environment that is supportive of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Preference will be given to candidates in networking, security, operating systems, web development, and mobile development.
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience. Research and industry experience is also valued.
These tenure track positions carry responsibilities in the areas of teaching undergraduate and graduate courses; scholarship, such as publications, grants and/or contracts; service, such as advising and committee work. Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the department.
The Department: The Department of Computer Science offers an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in Computer Science and ABET accredited Computer Information Systems bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Computer Science.
