Major Duties and Responsibilities: • Teaches content and skills in math for 7/8 grade students. • Competency in preparing lesson plans and classroom management skills. • Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: • Appropriate California Teaching Credential. • Bachelor's Degree, including coursework required for a credential. • Successful student teaching experience. • Teachers new to the district must be authorized by the State of California to teach English Learners.

These requirements must be met by October 1 of a teacher's second year with the district. Desired Qualifications: • Recent experience in math instruction at the middle school level. • Ability and interest in working with 7th - 8th grade students. • Strong communication skills. • Ability to work as a member of an academic team.
