The College is looking for exceptional colleagues to join the MVCC community. We are currently seeking a part-time Math Corps Student Team Leader in our College Pipeline Programs department. The Math Corps Student Team Leader is responsible for facilitating and supervising a team of high school and middle school students during Math Corps 4-week (July

• August) Summer Camp. The Team Leader will serve as a positive role model and inspire students to have a successful math camp experience.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Plans and implements math lesson plans;

• Manages minor behavior issues;

• Corrects and grades student homework and quizzes;

• Maintains a safe and encouraging learning environment;

• Other duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator or Director, College Pipeline Programs.

The work schedule for this position will be based on the needs of the department and the availability of the applicant.

Qualifications:

• Must have an Associate degree OR a minimum of 60 completed college credits
