Materials Specialist II- Materials/Procurement Specialist who can coordinate/maintain supply chain systems and incorporate the best methods for day to day operations. Will be responsible for raw material procurement, managing, consignment inventory, purchasing production and non-production materials, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and other essential functions of the position. Must be motivated and have previous purchasing or inventory control experience in the manufacturing industry.

Required Skills

Create/maintain supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency and speed, provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity.

Collaborate with other departments to identify vulnerabilities and maintain smooth operations

Responsible for the implementation of Company policies and procedures

Handle communications and coordinate with external suppliers and corporate purchasing team

Purchase or release material from pre-negotiated blanket purchase orders. Expedite and ensure timely delivery and back order follow up to maintain optimum production.

Track and deliver a daily/weekly open material status report to management that indicates past due and urgent items

Assist Materials Mgr with maintaining proper inventory levels of materials use on a regular basis

Required Experience

Bachelor's degree, 3 plus years of experience, manufacturing/production or supply chain management

Familiar with safety and procedural best practices in supply chain management

Experience with ERP programs (enterprise level preferred)

Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word and industry standard purchase order software

Attention to detail

Ability to work well with a team

Able to thrive in a fast paced environment

Must bend, twist, stoop, and access all areas of office and warehouse. # Possesses current Michigan motor vehicle license, ability to drive a car, and an insured vehicle capable of transport to patient homes or other offices in various weather conditions. . Responsibilities will include: ######### Sets up Cpap and BiPap machines ######### Teaches customer/caregiver how to safely utilize, maintain, and troubleshoot their sleep equipment both in the office and in patients# homes as necessary. ######### Works with various respiratory care products, such as oxygen cylinders, oxygen concentrators, nebulizer compressors, continuous oximeters, etc. as needed. ######### Assists walk in sleep product customers as needed while demonstrating a welcoming, supportive, and friendly atmosphere. # # 6.##### Provides mask fitting and recommends interfaces appropriate for each customer. # 7.##### Provides for the delivery, assembly, and return of respiratory equipment. # 8.##### Performs callbacks on Cpap and BiPap equipment requiring monitoring/maintenance according to policy. # 9.##### Maintains accurate patient files and strives to remain current on reimbursement and industry issues. # 10.# Cleans and maintains all HME equipment according to procedure. # 11.# Accurately records and maintains all preventative maintenance (PM) and cleaning logs. Assures proper PM procedures are followed. # 12.# Assures patient satisfaction with our services and fosters positive intra- and interdepartmental relations by performing all functions and activities with professionalism, confidentiality, and tact. # 13.# Delivers services in compliance with the policy and procedure manual. # 14.# #Responsible for monitoring and performing all staff competency checks and in-services as#needed. # 15.# Coordinates all warehouse operations.
