Description
Responsible for ensuring assembly functions have the appropriate amounts of supplies for production.
Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains weekly schedules for the assembly functions. Prepares and distributes daily production information as required.
Maintains and verifies counts against inventory control documents and makes adjustments.
Coordinates and distributes manufacturing schedules.
Communicates with internal customers.
Manages work-in-progress inventory levels.
Reviews inventory items using current item forecasts, MRP reports, backlogs, and inventory levels.
Prepares and issues various reports.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Plans the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work; may also occasionally assist in planning work assignments performed by others within a limited area of operation.
Frequently makes decisions of both minor and major importance, which may affect the work operations of other employees and/or clientele to a moderate degree.
Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
Uses noncomplex machines and equipment (adding machines, calculators, copy/fax machines, etc.).
Education and Experience
Equivalent of four years of high school (required).
Three to five years of relevant education or experience in quality control, logistics, or a related area (required).
Computer Skills
Intermediate: Spreadsheet, database.
Basic: Alphanumeric data entry, word processing/typing.
