Materials Management Supervisor

Guardian Glass is seeking you to become our next Materials Management Supervisor at our Float Glass Facility in Geneva, NY!

As a Materials Management Supervisor, you are responsible for developing your team into a high performing unit while advancing our vision and culture. You will do this by recognizing the unique skillset of your team members and aligning them in a way that creates personal fulfillment and value for the company. What You Will Do

• Supervise a diverse team with responsibility for raw materials and crib stock

• Maintain inventory levels, unload raw material, create delivery receipts, maintain Excel spreadsheets, with both weekly and monthly reporting

• Coordinate waste removal from the production line and daily plant activities

• Ensure maintenance parts are available and ready

• Cross-functionally partner with other departments

• Analyze financial data and advise on opportunities for improvement

• Maintain a safe work environment and communicate safety concerns

• Flexible to work a weekend when needed (rarely)

• Coordinate and plan work schedule for your direct reports

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience with Microsoft excel (create pivot tables, track, and analyze data)

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Leadership experience

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in a glass manufacturing facility

This role is not open to visa sponsorship.

For this role, we anticipate paying $65k-$75k per year
