Ensures supplies, equipment and services are sourced from CHS/HPG contracted vendors and/or at the lowest overall cost, considering quality and value, application, price, contract terms and other applicable expenses. Reviews requisitions for completeness, accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
Processes purchase orders in the MMIS, places and confirms orders for goods/services, expedites orders, resolves billing and payment issues, and organizes, updates and retains files and purchase order records per CHS retention policy. Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience; Certification preferred. Three to five years experience in purchasing and material distribution with a focus on surgical supplies, equipment and services.
Requires constant hearing, speaking, vision and repetitive hand movement. Requires attention to detail despite frequent interruptions.
