The Warehouse Coordinator role supports Brady's Contracting and Service operations teams by receiving, staging, and loading project materials, equipment, and safety gear from the Greensboro warehouse, along with the other essential duties and responsibilities listed below. Experience hitching, towing and parking trailers needed; CDL class A preferred, but not required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Receives material shipments and completes receiving reports

  • Moves materials to proper storage location in warehouse or on lot

  • Works with Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Field Superintendent to stage materials, equipment, and safety gear for projects when needed

  • Loads delivery trailers and Conex units with materials and equipment for shipment to job sites

  • Minimizes corporate expenses by keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments, as well as by recording items received and shipping expenses

  • Maintains the proper storage of oils and gases, as well as other chemicals, per regulations

  • Ensures proper disposal of all hazardous waste materials

  • Reports any damages, shortages, and safety incidents promptly

  • Oversees tool check-in/out and inspection of each tool to ensure they are run/function as designed

  • Issues tools, equipment, and materials to building services personnel by maintaining sign-out log, creating packing slips and other documentation as needed

  • Maintain/upkeep trailers to ensure they are in safe working order; schedule and complete preventive maintenance services as required

  • Coordinate deliveries of materials/equipment to job sites

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, legal regulations, and recommended best practices

  • Collaborate with all Associates to uphold the company's mission and values

WORK HOURS: Monday thru Friday, overtime/weekends as required

This position is performed in a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Qualifications

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • 6+ months of related experience or training

  • Must receive Brady's forklift certification

  • Hazardous materials handling certification, or willingness to obtain

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software

  • Ability to pass drug screening

  • Ability to prove US employment eligibility

  • Must have a valid driver's license
