Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently seeking a Materials Coordinator to add to their team in Dickinson, ND to be responsible for ensuring on time delivery of materials in accordance with contract terms and conditions.

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

  • Provide updates for material status and open purchase orders, including expediting, tracking and returns.

  • Coordinates scheduling for orders based in material lead times and arrival dates.

  • Provides status updates and follow-up to internal client groups.

  • Maintains integrity and accuracy of the physical inventory by location.

  • Responsible for year-end physical inventory counts as well as daily/weekly/monthly cycle counts.

  • Maintains records/spreadsheets for repairs and plan for future requirements based on orders, production schedules and forecasts.

  • Works closely with supply chain Buyers & operations personnel to prepare, execute and follow material orders and deliveries. Helps to maintain inventory traceability and accuracy.

  • Compliance with company policy and industry regulations.

  • Requires basic knowledge of discipline.

  • Uses established procedures to solve standard, straight-forward problems.

  • Has the ability to perform routine assignments based on detailed instructions/past practices.

Assisting in enhancing the prospective student experience and provides student centered services by contributing to an atmosphere that is welcoming and helpful. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position reports to the Assistant Director of Admissions MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Education or related field * Competencies in Microsoft Office Suite * Demonstrated public speaking abilities * Demonstrated ability to prioritize and be self-motivated * Demonstrated commitment to being detail and service orientated * Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, oral and written * Valid Drivers License, or ability to obtain one PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * 1 year experience in post-secondary educational environment * Campus Solutions experience * Campus Management experience COMPENSATION: Includes a salary of $35,000 - $40,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience. LOCATION: Dickinson, ND STARTING DATE: As soon as possible ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES * Represent Dickinson State University at college fairs * Answer questions students, counselors, and parents/guardians may have regarding the university. * Follow code of ethics and regulations for the fairs. * Network with representatives from other colleges. * Participate in high school and college visits as well as online recruitment activities: * Represent Dickinson State at face-to-face and online outreach activities * Create a travel itinerary and share the itinerary with colleagues and supervisor. * Notify students of upcoming recruitment activities by a DSU enrollment recruiter. * Perform admissions visits when prospective students visit campus which includes: * Inform prospective students and their families about the opportunities available to them at DSU. * Explain all important admissions procedures and information. * Assist with campus visit days including Saturdays. * Represent Dickinson State at outreach events. * Assist with orientation and registrations events for students. * Make phone calls, send e-mails, write postcards and compose letters to prospective students. * Notify department(s) that a potential student is interested in, and academic and/or extracurricular interests. * Work with Director of Recruitment and Admission to develop and implement strategic enrollment plan. * Enter applicant information in Campus Management and Campus Solutions as required by process. * Contact applicants and help them complete the admissions process. * Track applicant process through the admissions process. * Submit completed applications to the Director for approval and matriculation. * Work collaboratively with key staff to develop communications that will assist prospective students and families throughout the enrollment process. * Send thank you notes to guidance counselors, principals, students and others as appropriate. * Stay current on strategic enrollment management methods. * Create a welcoming environment for prospective students, parents, and the university community through the following: * Answer questions or refer visitor to the appropriate resource. * Respond to requests for information. * Update database in Campus Management. * Assist office personnel with time sensitive projects. * Set up and tear down DSU displays for various university functions. * Assure compliance with completing travel documentation and expense reimbursement vouchers from travel within a reasonable timeframe of returning from travels. * Enter data from the prospect cards received at college fairs and high school/community college visits into Campus Management. * Respond to inquiries utilizing the communication plan in Campus Management. * Utilize social media/technology to maintain communication with prospective students. * Attend professional development opportunities. * Answer phones utilizing best practices in customer services. * Answer prospective student/applicant questions utilizing Campus Management and Campus Solutions. * Document student interaction in Campus Management. * Assist with other duties and responsibilities as requested DISCLAIMER CLAUSE: This job announcement is not intended, and should not be construed, to be a complete list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with the job.
