POSITION: Materials Coordinator


Continuously improve the facility's production planning, inventory control, customer service, and logistics. Provide support to the Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse Departments in order to provide high quality containers in greater numbers at a superior level of service to the customer.


Performs production planning on a daily basis and monthly scheduling to maximize equipment efficiencies.

Enter sales orders and subsequent changes to guarantee the delivery of customer requirements.

Purchase the raw materials needed by the production department to manufacture quality containers efficiently.

Communicate directly with customers to satisfy product and delivery needs, information or planning requirements, and materials specifications.

Supervise and assist with inventory control through cycle counting, production scheduling, and warehousing.

Assists and performs regular maintenance on the manufacturing data base to provide optimum use and accurate reporting.


Training to manage the materials and warehouse departments. This encompasses the warehouse supervisor, cycle counter, and seasonal materials clerk.

Indirect responsibilities include the line drivers, materials handlers, and loaders. Responsibilities include compliance of all company policies including continuous improvement.

VIEW JOBS 11/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-09T00:00 JOB SUMMARY: This position will assist the Supply Chain Project Manager with the supply chain and logistic functions for our Digital Network. This includes office and warehouse support with inventory management, and inbound & outbound logistical operations. As directed, controls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities from receiving, locating, picking & packing dispatching, sourcing, purchasing and optimizing inventory levels for various products across warehouses and project sites. Scan bar code products in/out of inventory currently managed in MS Excel, and eventually an enterprise inventory management system. The position will require use of forklift to load/unload trailers, trucks, racks within warehouse. Breakdown pallets, assemble product onto pallets, label and coordinate shipments and at times, requires deliveries to various warehouse locations and project sites. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Coordinate/Prepare shipment of products for digital screen deployments – ensure good record keeping Manage parts shipping to deployment destinations Organize logistics for shipments and deliveries Quality control of deliveries as they arrive Support RMA process for failed units/parts as needed – track to conclusion Load/Unload trailers, trucks for both deliveries and shipments Operate Forklift (certification a plus, but will train for certification) Drive box truck in/out NYC to project sites and warehouses Scan products in/out of inventory Support Quarterly/Year-End warehouse audits as needed Work in warehouse environment as necessary PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS, ENVIRONMENT: Lifting up to 50 pounds and walking warehouses are a part of this job. Driving in and out of NYC, to job sites and warehouse to warehouse (typically within NY state) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Computer skills required: MS Excel, other MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word) a plus Very detail oriented and organized Excellent verbal & written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize/handle assignments and deadlines Ability to handle the tasks associated with a very fast paced environment Team Player a must Non-standard work hours Willingness to learn additional computer skills and systems as needed To all Recruitment Agencies: OUTFRONT Media LLC does not accept agency and unsolicited resumes.
