Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm Full Time.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to Viant Core Values and all safety environmental, security, and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management System (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Processes movements of material within the warehouse and manufacturing area.

  • Supports production by ensuring correct material is available for production based on scheduled work orders.

  • Moves material from cell to cell within the manufacturing site and transacts appropriately in the system.

  • Transacts returns of material from the manufacturing area back into the warehouse.

  • Sustain 5S of factory/warehouse Processes inventory shipments to customers or internal Viant locations.

  • Create Outside Service PO's.

  • Prints pick slips, pack slips, and other shipping documentation.

  • Arrange carrier pick-ups.

  • Sustain 5S of shipping / receiving area.

  • Performs inventory movements and transacts accurately in the system.

  • Receives and puts away incoming material.

  • Understand lot control procedure inventory accuracy.

  • Performs Cycle Counts and physical inventories as required. Processes inventory shipments to customers or internal Viant locations.

  • Create Outside Service PO's.

  • Prints pick slips, pack slips, and other shipping documentation.

  • Arrange carrier pick-ups.

  • Sustain 5S of shipping / receiving area.

  • Performs inventory movements and transacts accurately in the system.

  • Receives and puts away incoming material.

  • Understands lot control procedure Processes inventory shipments to customers or internal Viant locations.

  • Create Outside Service PO's.

  • Prints pick slips, pack slips, and other shipping documentation.

  • Performs Cycle Counts and physical inventories as required.

  • Develops and improves inventory control processes throughout the facility.

  • Trains Shippers receivers and Material handlers on correct procedures and system transactions.

  • Audits material transactions.

  • Understanding the ship list daily.

  • Organized the boxes for the week, tagged and stored the boxes.

  • Understand how to read the shop traveler.

  • Having knowledge of customer shipping specs.

  • Drive to deliver and pick up shipments when needed.

  • Knowledge on what are the differences between what is frat vs what is ground.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing facility in a material handler, shipper or receiver role.

Skills/Competencies

  • Detail-oriented with an ability to solve problems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints to determine set-up and operations

  • Ability to work with all levels of management.

Physical Requirements

  • Light physical activity performing non-strenuous day-to-day activities of an administrative nature.

  • Minimal lifting (75 lbs.) bending, pushing/pulling, crawling, climbing, balancing, and prolonged standing.

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.

  • Requires the ability to identify and distinguish colors, judge distance and space relationships (i.e. visualize objects of multiple dimensions), and adjust the lens of the eye to bring an object into sharp focus (microscope, etc.).
