Our client who specializes in building gas turbine units is now seeking a

Materials Analyst to join there team!

Job Functions:

Assure the availability of material to support production schedules and customer service requirements.

Analyze Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) results and prepare purchasing recommendations based on demand, economic order quantities and financial controls.

Issue purchase orders against approved MRP

Follow up with Suppliers on PO acknowledgements

Assist Buyers with requests for quotes

Monitor supplier credit limits and terms, assist Finance with AP questions or issues

Assist Inventory Control with investigating shortages, performing cycle counts and processing miscellaneous transactions

Investigate purchase cost variances

Investigate the effect of engineering changes to material availability

Work with Quality Control to resolve Supplier non conformities and related issues

Critical Competencies / Experience:

Relevant industry experience either in materials planning, supply chain, or logistics ideally in a manufacturing environment

Proven IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel skills

Knowledge and experience using MRP systems

Good communicator both internally and with Suppliers

Assertive and diligent in following Supplier delivery performance.

Possess a mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

We are seeking Group Team Lead II on 1st shift to become the newest member of our Production Team. The position will be based out of our Portsmouth, NH facility. You will be responsible for set up and operation of the wet end. As a Group Team Lead II, a typical day might include the following: * Observe operations and inspect packaged items for conformance with specifications. * Identifies equipment malfunctions and repair needs, and makes minor adjustments * Ensures proper supply of materials to optimize line efficiency * Ensures proper documentation of quality and efficiency measurements * Assures proper packaging area/line staffing to maintain labor efficiency * Coordinates packaging line changeovers * Trains employees on proper packaging tasks and responsibilities This job might be for you if: * You can guide and train workers in the development of practical work routines to achieve desired level of quality and output, guaranteeing an uninterrupted workflow. * You have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and two to three years experience in a related field * You have the ability to read, write, understand and communicate in spoken English: * High Liner Foods (USA), Inc. requires for safety, quality control and emergency procedures that all employees be proficient in English.
