Material Review Board Design/Liaison Engineer Aerospace is mandatory.US Citizen only.

Responsibilities:

Document non-conformance tags for spacecraft structuresAnalyze variations to part print specifications which effect part form, fit, and functionEvaluate and provide a course of action regarding the ultimate disposition of the partsEvaluates areas of non-conformance regarding defects arising during the manufacturing process and as compared to the product definition requirements as defined by the drawingsPerform design engineering analysis of discrepant machined parts manufactured in an aerospace manufacturing facilityFor example, it may be used “as-is” with no corrective action, reworked to a condition that is acceptable for use, repaired, or scrappedThis analysis will include performing tolerance stacks, stress, metallurgical, aerodynamic, dynamic, NDT, and heat transfer analysisQualifications: 

Minimum of a B.S. Degree in mechanical, aerospace or civil engineering 2+ years of experience with aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle.Desired: 

Previous experience with new aircraft or spacecraft fabricationPrevious experience with aircraft MRO
