Qualifications:

Material Quality Assurance Coordinator

What you'll do:

  • Review engineering drawings for identification of parts, materials and tooling needs.

  • Assist in identifying tasks for component processing.

  • Processing material receivers into the ERP system for inventory.

  • Plan/assist planning sequential manufacturing operations.

  • Provide information to update shop order schedules.

  • Write and maintain manufacturing routers, configuration requirements, and material traceability documentation.

  • Create and utilize purchase requisitions through approval.

  • Process expedite requests as required to move parts through the inspection process.

  • Provide material status reports.

  • Process, control, and maintain the non-conforming material (MRB) inventory.

  • Repackage parts going to inventory to be in compliance with Ball's standards.

  • Review inspection reports for completion, correctness, and process parts to stock.

  • Maintain strict adherence to business process and government compliance.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and/or external customers.

  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

  • Perform other duties as necessary.

What you'll need:

  • High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years or more related.

  • Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor's or Master's, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, clean room, or production floor.

  • Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

The Manager, Quality Assurance reinforces best practices and supports training efforts within Operations. The Manager, Quality Assurance cultivates and maintains collaborative relationships throughout Bright Horizons. What you will be doing: * Have an understanding of the philosophy underlining the role of quality assurance within the organization. Develop a subject matter expertise on the elements of the Quality Audit (QA) including an understanding of the processes, tools and timelines. Develop the ability to serve in a consultative role to Regional Managers, Center Directors, Principals and Heads of School. * Introduce the selected Regional Managers, Center Directors, Principals and Heads of School to the audit approach and what they might expect during the audit process * Coordinate logistics for visits to selected centers/schools * Evaluate the compliance of the QA elements at the selected centers/schools * Provide immediate feedback to regional manager and center/school management at the time of the center/school visit * Prepare and deliver a visit summary and audit report to the center/RM/DVP that identifies areas of non-compliance and risk in a format that is consumable & actionable. * Support the summation and communication of results/trends/observations noted across U.S. regions * Support the development of new best practices and the corresponding roll-outs to Regional Managers, Center Directors, Principals and Heads of School * Respond to inquiries from Regional Managers, Center Directors, Principals and Heads of School relative to best practices * Respond to an immediate need to assess the effectiveness of operations at a particular center/school, as requested by supervisor * Respond to invitations to provide in-service trainings at Regional Manager and Center Director meetings within the designated areas of support * Support the development of training programs for Regional Managers, Center Directors, Principals and Heads of School * Participate as an instructor in training programs for Regional Managers, Center Directors, Principals and Heads of School * Assist in the development /refinement of QAA audit programs, new value-added initiatives and other project planning * Support and participate in other value-added initiatives and projects as they may arise. Job Requirements What we hope you will bring to the role: * B.A. in Early Childhood Education (ECE), or a related field required * Must be detail oriented, and have a strong understanding of company policies and procedures. * 7+ years of experience in an ECE center leadership or director role with multi-site experience preferred. * Candidate will have strong program skills including a thorough knowledge developmentally appropriate practice * Willingness to travel a minimum of 50% to 75% of the time, depending on territory. Position may be based remotely. * Demonstrate excellent customer service and collaboration skills in addition to being comfortable and willing to give critical feedback while supporting managers in achieving desired results. * Excellent verbal and written communication, project and organizational skills required. * Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality a must. * Ideal candidate will be action and solution-oriented.
