Responsible for managing material requirements through SAP MRP with timely and accurate planning to support dynamic plant production.
Communicate and collaborate as needed with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of all materials as scheduled through SAP.
Analyze and escalate any significant supplier delivery issues to manager, so plant production is not interrupted.
Use internal plant tools and processes to provide accurately planned deliveries.
Communicate and collaborate internally at Cooper Standard Oscoda across all departments effected by Material deliveries.
Work with Plant Logistics Provider on scheduling regularly planned shipments to minimize out of process premium freight.
Work with Cycle Counting and Records Integrity to ensure inventory accuracy.
Be prepared to assist the rest of the Production Control department in activities as required.
Manage inventory to achieve department inventory KPIs.
Daily tasks will include a high level of involvement in planning procedures and awareness of general business levels and trends to allow successful job performance.
May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description. Performs other related duties.
Education and Qualifications:
4-year degree in Supply Chain or Business-Related Field. 3-5 years of experience on manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
Preferred SAP experience.
Computer literate, working knowledge of Windows programs and web-based applications.
Work Environment/Work Conditions:
Office setting with daily exposure to the production floor.
Personal Protective Equipment is required on production floor.
