Summary Statement: Applies expert or specialized knowledge in materials and processes to evaluate technical and economic factors and recommend engineering and manufacturing actions for attainment of design objectives of processes or products used in a manufacturing environment. Recognized as the resident expert in the Material and Process Engineering discipline within the Company.
Material and Process Engineer Formal Education, Training, Professional Certification and Work Experience: Experience may be substituted for the formal education and training requirements in this section at the discretion of management. Technical Bachelor level degree from four-year college or university and some postgraduate work with ten (10) plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Works under limited direction. Guidance as to objectives, critical issues and policy. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and methods.
