Job Purpose

Lead and manage Material Planners for designated business unit/region to ensure the required service to the customer and the appropriate balance with costs and inventory for raw materials. Implement and develop processes and tools to perform required planning activities. Support the deployment of strategy and operational plans in the region.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the supply planning teams for designated sites in the business unit/region, guiding team members in day-to-day activities.

  • Develop and implement strategies for service and inventory as well as process efficiency and improvement.

  • Set objectives, performance, and development of team.

  • Ensure region is meeting monthly targets for delivery capability, inventory, logistics, and procurement costs.

  • Work closely with designated team members to deploy strategy and plans within the region.

  • Demonstrate leadership according to company values.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Economics or related field.

  • 6 years' experience material planning experience in the paints and coatings industry, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or retail industries with focus on supply chain improvement or consulting.

  • 3 years' people management experience.

  • Knowledgeable of supply planning and/or integrated business planning to include processes and tools.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage change with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills. Must be an effective listener.

  • Effective analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues.

  • Fluent in English.

Total Compensation

The compensation package for this position will include a base salary, annual bonus, and employee benefits that are effective the first day of employment.
