The Logistics department is responsible for support and movement of all product (Raw Material and Components Items) from Dock to Stock (Spirit) to the Production Line and ultimately to the outside customer. Included in these functions are: Standards, Sealant & Paint Receipt/Distribution to Production, Cold Storage, where Logistical Support Technicians will keep product moving.
Moving Product internally; Loading trucks, Warehousing (on Campus & Distribution Center); POU Deliveries; Shipping which includes End Item Loading onto custom Fixtures.
Parts Packaging including custom designed containers; Product Coordination and act as Customer Service Representatives, regarding Receiving and Shipping matters.
Minimum 5 years experience processing and moving production and other materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations
Minimum 5 years experience performing tasks including materials handling, receiving, inspecting, inventory control, expediting, line loading, material tracking, auditing, and troubleshooting.
Minimum 5 years experience with shipping, receiving, storing, and moving materials using motorized and manual materials handling equipment, hand tools, and other equipment; Material Handling Equipment includes: tugs, forklifts various size and style; Overhead Crane use; Use of Hand Tools
Must have ability to do manual labor (must be able to stand extended periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and squat etc, while doing daily duties);
Must have Basic Computer Knowledge-Skills, MS Office Suite and SAP
Minimum 5 years of experience with Inventory Control Principles
Minimum 3 years of experience being familiar with hazardous material shipping and handling (IATA, IMDG and DOT)
Must be familiar with ITAR and international import and export shipping requirements.
