Material Planner - Saginaw, MI

Pay: 19.60

Position Description:

PC&L representative for South Business Unit, responsible for; analyzing customer requirements, manage material flow to support production requirements, monitor performance to plan and communication with suppliers. • Maintain accuracy of inventory • Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve any supply issues • Monitor premium freight • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production schedules • Material forecast and ordering • Supplier management • Maintain QAD system requirements • Manage material transport issues

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of PC&L processes/activities o Material movement strategies o Supply chain management o Scheduling and other management systems • Knowledge of product and manufacturing processes • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge of Quality Management procedures

Experience Required:

3 years related experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain.

Education Required:

Related experience or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain
