Please visit us at www.oled.com.Job Summary: The Material Handling will support UDC’s Chemical Business to managing inventory of raw material and finished goods. This person will perform hands-on work in a laboratory/clean room setting where accuracy and attention to detail is critical.Responsibilities:
Support the Chemical Business operation, including product dispensing, packaging and inspections functions
Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments of UDC’s materials from the Monroeville site. Troubleshoot and resolve shipping and other associated issues as they arise.
Monitor and maintain inventory systems for all UDC-owned materials at the site. Transact and deliver materials to UDC operations at the facility.
Compile inventory information from multiple locations into consolidated reports or perform requisite ERP material data entry tasks for use within the Chemical Business.
Complete other activities as assigned, associated with UDC’s operations
Effectively communicate and work with the global UDC team across multiple regions to ensure customer satisfaction, delivering on time, in full with high quality.
Identify opportunities for improvement and, as appropriate, participate and/or lead continuous improvement projects to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
Practice the highest standards of laboratory housekeeping and organization.
Qualifications:
High School diploma
Minimum 2 years of order fulfillment or similar relevant experience
Experience within a regulated laboratory or chemical environment is desirable.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with peers and management.
Experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Office and familiar with various internet software programs.
Actively participate and contribute to an effective working team.
Driven to look for ways to improve and promote quality.
Follows instructions, responds to management direction.
