We are looking to fulfill our need for a Material Handler/Forklift Operator at our Teterboro, NJ facility. This person will be responsible for handling material and operating a forklift with extreme care to ensure efficiency and safety. We are looking for this individual to have experience handling fragile material such as glass and/or large, long items (such as logging, metal fabrications or plumbing supplies) up to 20 feet in length.

Full-time position

Hours: 7 am 3:30 pm (Monday Friday) OT when needed and approved.

Applicants from NJ with their own reliable transportation preferred.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Responsible for offloading all glass and/or aluminum shipments from trucks.
  • Experienced in fragile material handling or large, long items up to 20 feet in length.
  • Must be hands-on.
  • Ensure all materials are delivered to the correct location and properly stored.
  • Responsible for the removal of scrap material.
  • Transport materials to production workstations.
  • Perform daily equipment checks.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Forklift certification per OSHA standards
  • Able to operate an electric power jack
  • Understand shipping/receiving processes
  • Able to operate forklifts with a boom attachment a plus
  • Prior window industry experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • The ability to lift up to 75 lbs. repeatedly
