Material Handler/Forklift Operator (2Nd Shift)

Job Description Job Description We are seeking multiple Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our fortune 500 growing team Your position will focus on safe and efficient movement of products and materials. Pay begins at $17.00/hr for 2nd shift.

This position is in the Kamtek facility in Birmingham and you must be able to badge in order to be considered for the position Pay/Hours 2nd shift: 6:30pm-2am Starting at $17/hr , to be hired in at a higher rate Responsibilities/Qualifications Loads, unloads, transports and moves materials within the entire facility. Operate a PIV unit(tugger/forklift) in order to collect materials throughout the warehouse from assigned routes. Manually moves materials onto or from pallets, bins, boxes and shelves.

Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas. Cleans work area, machines, and equipment. Assembles crates to contain products when required.

Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers. Adheres to all safety rules and regulations. Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time and occasionally lift up to 35-40 pounds.
