Genesis Systems Group specializes in factory automation with robots for welding, cutting, non-destructive inspection, adhesive application, material removal, machine tending, and material handling, including laser solutions for welding, cutting, metrology and more. We are currently seeking a creative, experienced Material Handler.

What you will be doing:

We are looking for a self-driven, results-oriented individual to support the receipt and internal delivery of material to optimize production efficiency. The Material Handler (Water Spider) is tasked with keeping work stations fully stocked with materials, thus supporting the continuous flow of production. Responsibilities include:

  • Continually assess and prioritize the needs of internal customers to provide timely delivery of fabricated components; generate all necessary shipping documents.

  • Daily delivery of WIP components and assemblies to sister facilities and suppliers.

  • Support build of sub-assembly components and pre-assembly components as required.

  • Support shipping and receiving as required.

  • Assist in inventory counts as required.

What you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one-year work related experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Excel and Word, experience with ERP systems is a plus

  • Trustworthy/Reliable, Honest

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Valid drivers license required and may use various company vehicles to make out of plant pickups or deliveries.

  • Must be able to receive DOT certification physical examination

  • Team player

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

  • Self-starter

  • Able to drive fork truck

  • Ability to lift 30 to 60 pounds
