Material Handler-Shipping Clerk

The primary responsibility of this role, as Material Handler-Shipping Clerk, is to ensure the timely receipt and return shipment of customer instruments at Oakdale MN service center. To be successful, the Material Handler-Shipping Clerk will need to receive customer units and service parts into the SAP inventory at Oakdale. Once instrument service is completed, they will manage the return of the customer units in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive service parts and customer instruments into Oakdale facility.

• Manage the SAP transfer processes for customer instruments.

• Generate shipping documents, packing slips and other required documentation.

• Package and label serviced instrument for shipment back to customers based upon current shipping systems being used.

• Utilize good problem-solving techniques to resolve issues that prevent the timely receipt and return of customer instruments and service parts.

• Knowledge of Neogen products.

• Adhere to GLP/ISO guidelines in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, and other procedural documents in English. The person must be able to read computer screens in English. Ability to correspondence and to speak effectively to team members.

• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform routine, high school level mathematical operations.

• Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to effectively communicate electronically. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite are also required. Proficiencies in SAP and Salesforce are preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma and relevant manufacturing or warehouse experience.
