Position Overview

With a good attitude and desire to learn, individuals performing the Material Handler role are responsible for receiving, put-away, picking and parts delivery, handling a wide variety of materials and products from the warehouse to the production line located in City of Industry, CA.

About the Role You will:

  • Verifies pick list with station supervisor to ensure kit carts and large components brought into the station are correct and corrects discrepancies when needed.

  • Follows purge process between Production, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality.

  • Works daily shortages with the appropriate personnel on all parts, those in the kit cart, large parts, and consumables and provide station updates from Gemba boards to Production team.

  • Distributes kit parts by task as needed via instruction from the Station Supervisor to the appropriate team member.

  • Documents any deviation, rework, NCR or BOM issues that affects part consumption and obtains support from Engineering, Quality or SCM to correct issues.

  • Responsible for documenting all damaged parts, including parts received damaged and facilitates part replacement in a timely manner.

  • Reconciles all production orders for BOM changes, rework instruction, engineering deviations, and NCR changes/modifications.

  • Works with station supervisor to coordinate daily activities within the station so as to facilitate efficient task completion for the day.

A Material Handling/Forklift Service Technician A is accountable for repairing customer's material handling equipment. As a Service Technician A, you will be responsible for diagnosing, rebuilding and repairing material handling equipment, while completing the necessary documentation for those repairs and maintenance and all other duties assigned. Required Skills and Experience: * High School Diploma or GED. * Minimum 4 yrs. Material Handling/Mechanical experience. * Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills. * Valid Driver's License to operate applicable company vehicles * Acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations. * You must provide your own hand tools. * Solid computer skills, particularly data entry. * Strong multitasking, time management skills and exceptional analytic skills. * This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test. Preferred Skills and Experience: * Completion of a technical school or equivalent is preferred.
